The Rockefeller Group Promotes Nakajima to Top Position

The Rockefeller Group, a global owner, developer, and investment manager, named Atsushi Nakajima as acting president and chief executive officer in the ’s New York City headquarters.

Nakajima joined The Rockefeller Group in 2011 as vice president and chief investment officer. He has taken leadership in company’s development and investment initiatives throughout the United States, , and Asia. Prior to joining in 2011, Nakajima worked for The Rockefeller Group’s sole shareholder, Mitsubishi Estate, where he has worked in various departments since 1986.

Nakajima has an MBA from the University of California at Berkeley and a bachelor of law degree from the University of Tokyo.

Albrecht Joins Integra Realty Resources

, Inc. (IRR) named John Albrecht as its new Chief Executive Officer to help guide the firm as it expands into new markets.

In his new role, Albrecht will diversify into other business lines while maintaining Integra’s focus on core valuation and consulting practice. He will be based in Integra Realty Resources’ headquarters in New York City.

Albrecht previously worked as managing director of the financial services group for Acxiom Corporation. Before that he served as vice president of business development at MasterCard International.



Hammond Joins Cissell Mueller Co

Cissell Mueller Company, a Missouri-based real estate company, has welcomed Jeff Hammond as vice president of the company’s real estate brokerage, development, and investment firm at its Saint Peters office.

Hammond brings more than ten years of experience in the restaurant and office tenant representation and retail investment sectors, as well as managing, selling and constructing commercial and residential real estate. Hammond also specializes in executing business solutions to reduce costs and improve efficiency for small and large businesses.

Hammond is a CCIM candidate, and is currently the director for the St. Charles Association of Realtors – Commercial Division.



Kraus Joins IDI

Jeremy Kraus has joined as a vice president of leasing at the firm’s Cincinnati office.

Kraus will work to attract and retain tenants for IDI’s properties in Ohio, Kentucky and Indiana. His prior responsibilities at Duke Realty, where he spent the last ten years, included managing an industrial portfolio of 10 million square feet and serving with Duke Realty’s property management group.

Kraus is a member of Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky chapter of NAIOP, and sits on the University of Cincinnati’s real estate round table.



CBRE Promotes Wilbricht

promoted Matt Wilbricht to first vice president in its Norfolk, VA office.

Wilbricht joined CBRE in 2005 and specializes in representing both owners and tenants for office and flex property leases.

He has leased more than 1.7 million square feet of flex and office space within the Hampton Roads area in the past eight years.

In addition to leasing, he also represents property owners in the selling and acquisition of office and flex properties.



Finkelstein Joins ABS Partners

Robert Finkelstein joined Partners Real Estate LLC as a senior managing director in the firm’s New York City office.

In his new role, Finkelstein will concentrate on landlord and tenant assignments and well as developing a new team to support these efforts. He previously worked at Massey Knakal Realty Services as a first vice president of sales.

Finkelstein’s appointment is part of ABS Partners Real Estate’s continued expansion. This is the third major personnel move for ABS Partners announced so far this year.



C&W Commerce Adds Barnes to Seattle Team

Sean Barnes has joined Cushman & Wakefield Commerce as a senior director in the firm’s Seattle office.

Barnes will be specializing in office brokerage and tenant representation in the Puget Sound market. For the past 13 years he was at Jones Lang LaSalle and the Staubach Company, where he was named the #1 Producing Broker in the Seattle Region, twice.

Barnes is a sponsor of the Washington Technology Industry Association (WTIA), American Electronics Association (AEA), and Financial Executives International (FEI).



Mohr Ptnrs Names New Managing Director in Dallas

Mohr Partners has appointed Bruce “Bo” Bowman as a new managing director in its Dallas, TX corporate office. Bowman has more than 20 years of sales experience and has been a top producer in commercial real estate for over 13 years, specializing in advisory services and tenant representation.

Before joining Mohr Partners, Bowman was manager of billing operations for Emergidata Enterprises, and prior to that was a district manager for LoneStar Logos. From the late 1990s through 2011, he was vice president of Swearingen Realty Group and was consistently a top ten producer.

Bowman stated, “With my background in tenant representation, I was looking to join a firm that was an exclusive tenant representative. They are truly a client-first services firm that puts an emphasis on quality of service and has a commitment to its core values. I look forward to adding my expertise to this growing company.”



Hoffman Joins Taylor & Mathis

Darryl Hoffman has joined Taylor & Mathis of Florida in the firm’s Orlando office as a director of leasing and brokerage services. In his new role he will play an integral role in the Orlando office’s growth and expansion.

Hoffman is relocating from Washington, DC where he worked with Newmark Grubb Knight Frank in representing institutional landlords, technology firms, law firms and non-profits throughout the capital region, representing approximately 1.3 million square feet of space in the past 12 months.

“Darryl’s experience in the D.C. market along with his enthusiasm and energy will provide the Orlando office of Taylor & Mathis an additional dimension and depth,” said Damien Madsen, principal.
